Iran to host intl. cultural festival

The 10th festival of international ethnic groups titled ‘International Tribes Culture’ is to be held in the Northern city of Gorgan in Golestan Province.

“The event is to be launched in the presence of national and international artists,” an Iranian cultural official announced.

“Handicrafts booths will be dedicated to Iranian provinces and the neighboring countries,” Ebrahim Karimi, the director general of Golestan’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization told the media.

He also added that Iranian and international music bands are to perform during the festival.

The exhibition section of the 10th edition of the festival will have rural museum, Karimi announced.

Karimi also remarked that the renowned artists of various countries are invited to participate at the festival.

The 10th Festival of International Tribes Culture will be held from December 28, 2016, through January 1, 2017, in Gorgan.
